2. Subject of data protection

Subject of data protection are personal data. This is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (so-called data subject). This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, but also information that necessarily arises during the use of the website, such as information about the start, end and scope of use as well as the transmission of your IP address.

3. Type, scope, purposes and legal basis of automated data processing

The use of the website is generally possible without registration. Even if you use the website without registration, personal data can be processed.

3.1 Provision of the Website

Diese Daten verarbeiten wir auf Basis des Artikels 6 Absatz 1 Buchstabe f) DSGVO zur Bereitstellung des Dienstes, zur Sicherstellung des technischen Betriebs sowie zum Zwecke der Ermittlung und Beseitigung von Störungen. Wir verfolgen dabei das Interesse, die Inanspruchnahme der Website und dessen technische Funktionsfähigkeit zu ermöglichen und dauerhaft sicherzustellen. Bei Aufruf der Website werden diese Daten automatisch verarbeitet. Ohne diese Bereitstellung können Sie unsere Dienste nicht nutzen. Wir verwenden diese Daten nicht zu dem Zweck, Rückschlüsse auf Ihre Person bzw. Ihre Identität zu ziehen.

We usually delete this data after 90 days, unless we exceptionally need it longer for the above-mentioned purposes. In such a case we delete the data immediately after it has been used.

4. Recipient of personal data

Internal recipients: Within sirius-net, only those persons have access who need it for the purposes mentioned under points 3. and 4. above.

External recipients: We will only pass on your personal data to external recipients outside sirius-net if this is necessary to process your request or if we have your consent.

External receivers can be:

  1. a) Contract processors

External service providers that we use to provide services, for example in the areas of technical infrastructure and maintenance for sirius-net’s services. These contractors are carefully selected and regularly reviewed by us to ensure that your privacy is protected. Data is not passed on to these service providers.

  1. a) Public bodies

Authorities and state institutions, such as public prosecutor’s offices, courts or tax authorities, to which we must transmit personal data for legally compelling reasons. The transmission will then be based on Article 6(1)(c) DSGVO.

5. Data processing in third countries

No data is transmitted to third countries.

6. Storage time

In addition, in general, we only store your personal data for as long as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes or – in the case of consent – as long as you have not revoked your consent.  In the event of an objection, we will delete your personal data unless further processing is permitted by the relevant legal provisions.
